About us
At Thind Movers & Automobiles, we are a Halifax-based moving company dedicated to making every move as smooth and stress-free as possible. Whether you are crossing town or heading across the country, our crew shows up prepared, works carefully, and treats your belongings with the same respect we would give our own.
We serve homeowners, renters, and businesses throughout Halifax and beyond from our location on Bayers Rd. Local moves, long-distance moves, office relocations, packing, loading, and furniture work - we handle it all so you can focus on settling in, not stressing out.
Halifax Movers You Can Trust.
Moving services
From careful packing to full furniture assembly, we offer a complete range of moving services built around what you actually need on moving day.
We handle local moves across Halifax with care and a schedule you can count on. Your belongings get loaded, transported, and placed exactly where you need them, without the stress of moving day falling on your shoulders.
Moving beyond Halifax is a big undertaking, and we treat it that way. We plan every detail of your long-distance move so your belongings arrive safely, on time, and in the same condition they left.
We pack your items securely using the right materials for everything from everyday dishes to fragile keepsakes. On the other end, we unpack and help you settle in so you can feel at home sooner.
Need a crew to handle the heavy lifting without the full move? We load and unload with care, working efficiently to protect your furniture, boxes, and floors throughout the process.
We move offices with the organisation and speed a business requires, keeping disruption to a minimum. From desks and filing cabinets to equipment, we get your workspace set up and ready to run.
Large pieces that need to be taken apart to move safely are no problem for our crew. We disassemble everything properly and put it all back together at your new location, so nothing is left in pieces.

Frequently asked questions
What areas do you serve out of Halifax?
We handle local moves right here in Halifax and the surrounding area, and we also take on long-distance moves when you need to go further. Give us a call and we can talk through the details of your specific route.
Do you help with packing, or just the moving itself?
We offer full packing and unpacking services, so you can hand the whole job over to us if you like. We also handle furniture disassembly and reassembly, loading, and unloading, so you only need one crew from start to finish.
Can you move a business or office, not just a home?
Yes. Office moves are part of what we do. We work carefully to keep your equipment and furniture organised so your team can get back up and running as quickly as possible.
How do I get a quote for my move?
The best way is to call us directly. Every move is a little different, and a quick conversation about your location, the size of the job, and your timeline lets us give you accurate information without any surprises on moving day.
